A Man and an Elf; an unlikely pairing that brings with it judgemental eyes and inevitable tragedy. Galadriel knows this, and even still she cannot resist the cosmic bond she shares with Halbrand of the Southlands, the human with a mysterious past who saved her life. Nor can Halbrand resist the connection he shares with this unruly Elf. They are alone, cast out for their past actions, and tempted by both desire and darkness that consumes them. In her, he sees an opportunity for redemption and in him, she finds an unlikely sense of belonging. While evil forces work in the shadows to destroy that which they hold dear in Middle Earth, will their bond lead to salvation or result in their doom?
This is my take on a Second Age story in which Halbrand was just a mortal man after all, written for those who miss Human Halbrand as much as I do.

Summary
AU in which Halbrand is a stableboy for Galadriel, the widowed lady of the manor, who is constantly dismissing the numerous suitors who knock on her door. Halbrand has been pining after his employer for the last year but, knowing that as a mere stable hand he doesn't stand a chance with someone so refined and beautiful, his fantasies have never been acted upon.
Perhaps he just needs a little push from the lady in question... Or rather, they should both embrace the urge to gallop headfirst into that which they desire. -

Summary
Halbrand reluctantly watches on as Galadriel teaches the Númenórean soldiers how to correctly slay orcs. The display of her skills and commandeering attitude leaves him wanting and fighting against the lust that's brewing inside him.
Following their argument by the forge, he finds himself stomping to her chambers that night, eager to give her a piece of his mind.
It doesn't end in the way he imagined it would.

Summary
