After Mishima had his conversation with Akira about his recent behavior and clearing things up, he felt like he was turning a new leaf, that he has gotten better, that he can continue on with the phansite and being their admin just as before. But for some reason, he still feels an emptiness, he feels the guilt and shame of letting himself get so hungry for fame, even though Akira himself said it was fine. But....
Why does he not feel relief? Why does he still think he hasn't changed? Why does he feel so stupid? Why does no one want him around? Why couldn't he stop crying? When did he start feeling disgusted with himself? When did the world started to feel like it wants him gone? And lastly....
When was the last time he felt genuinely happy..?

Summary
The murder cases at Aetheria Academy have all been resolved. Karen Stromwell was arrested...and consequently executed. The schoolgirls of Aetheria have been spared, whether or not they were involved with the case. Life in Kanai Ward goes on.
... It's not easy finding a path forward for some people. But Aiko would want them to live, and to be happy. So her dear friends try their best to honor that wish. Even if Karen's death leaves a sour taste in their mouth... Damn that Yomi Hellsmile. He ruins everything...
The detectives carry on trying to help the citizens of Kanai Ward and investigating Kanai Ward's Ultimate Secret, unknowing of the attack that would be hitting their sub in just a few weeks... Amaterasu is dragging their name through the mud, making them a clear target of scorn, so it's harder to earn peoples' trust... They've got a few people in their corner, but that's only a small comfort.
Each chapter will focus on a NDA detective, episodic format. All takes place before Chapter 3.
