Dante himself had no problem sharing living space with Nero. Hell, he even liked it, to some extent. It’s not often he got someone around that actually understood his demonic tendencies. Sparring with the kid was major fun, and his endless supply of awesome jokes worked better with an audience.
It’s the demon inside him that’s having issue with the whole situation.

It was easier than Nero thought, getting used to the way his and Dante's relationship worked now.
He spends about as much time in Fortuna as he does with Dante now, though the former is mostly work, and the latter... well. They got here because they wanted each other. Turns out, that hasn't changed a bit, even though they now manage to have an actual conversation or two as well.

It’s ironic, really, how so very nonchalant his father is whenever Nero stops by the shop.
Father is an overstatement, calling him that is too much of a compliment, a very loose term…a whole number of things, all not very good. Misnomer, exaggeration, completely laughable at best— But, most of all, the word is very foreign on Nero’s tongue (warm on his lips, but leaves a bitter aftertaste).
That internal debacle aside—Vergil still doesn’t have any fucking right to be so dead calm, honestly, if you ask Nero.
