Summary
Inspired by a comic by @usedtobehmc on Instagram. If you review all six episodes, no one touches Aziraphale with any kindness. Given his propensity to visit the barber, his book character's manicures, his propensity for tight-fitting waistcoats and being totally covered at all times, and his love of eating, like many other writers, I came to the conclusion that Aziraphale is touch-starved, and that Heaven is even worse than Hell in many ways.
CW: mentions of past physical abuse and being touch-starved, as well as mentions of anxiety without mentioning the word.

Nothing has ever hurt worse than that. Crowley needed a change of scenery, someplace busy and manic and far, far away. Even amidst all the unpredictability of New York, he is floored by the appearance of Aziraphale, who came looking for him.
Once he’s there, everything changes. Their love always changes everything, and it will only become more complicated.

Inspired by Chekhov's cat AU comics 'Good Meowmens', here is a fanfic in which Anathema and Newt are humans, and Aziraphale and Crowley are cats. Not disguised as cats, not trapped in cat bodies, just actual elderly cats that are inseparable.
I'm calling it finished but Lord knows this is cute and fun to write, so who knows, maybe I'll add chapters later.

The kiss was surprisingly deep and heated after such light words. Probably because it really had been coming for centuries, if not millennia. Crowley moved his mouth against Aziraphale’s, and the angel parted his lips immediately, welcoming Crowley inside, sharing a very intimate kind of angelic warmth with him. Crowley almost growled with the feeling of it, and he pulled Aziraphale quite firmly into his arms, sinking a hand into the angel’s white curls.
Aziraphale wound his arms around Crowley’s neck and made very earnest, very lovely, very happy sounds that communicated exactly what Crowley needed to know. Aziraphale loved him.
