Armageddon didn't happen, Heaven and Hell have agreed to leave them alone, and Aziraphale and Crowley are free to build a life together.
But the forces of Hell aren't happy with losing, and even if they can't directly harm their wayward demon, they can try to drive a wedge between him and the angel that he loves.
After all, Crowley had been encouraging them for centuries to get creative.

Summary
There was a certain look that Aziraphale wore occasionally—a pinched sort of moue that looked like he’d just taken a very large mouthful of cinnamon—which meant he thought Crowley was being ridiculous. He had put it on.
“Hang on,” he had said. “You want us to do human things?”

You go too fast for me, Crowley.
The words were on the tip of Aziraphale’s tongue. A resounding answer, one that wasn’t exactly a ‘no,’ more like a ‘not yet,’ but which still would have brought about an end to the conversation.
Instead, despite his holiest judgement, Aziraphale slowly drew the passenger seat belt down across his midsection, and clicked it into place. “Do try not to crash us into anything, would you?"
(Or, 'What if Aziraphale hadn't delivered The Line and had just gone home with Crowley like he should have?')

Summary
“And you drove the whole rest of the way there like that?” Aziraphale asked.
“Yep.”
“And you didn’t discorporate.”
“Obviously.”
He could practically hear the angel’s brain working as it put the pieces together. “Oh, my dear,” he breathed after a moment, and Crowley felt a second hand covering his own. “You must be exhausted.”
In the wake of an averted apocalypse, an angel grieves, and a demon is drained. With their punishments looming over them, Crowley and Aziraphale attempt to tie up some loose ends.

Summary
Crowley's loved Aziraphale since the beginning.
Sure, Crowley admitted his love frequently, but it had always been under the guise of teasing, of maintaining their cover story for a mission, never said in seriousness lest it get them killed.
Even still.
Aziraphale knew. He had to. Crowley was an excellent liar, save for when it was the angel. It had only gotten worse since The Apocalypse That Wasn’t. All Crowley’s apprehension had thrown itself out the window, an elegant swan dive into an empty cement pool, his self-preservation going right along with it. It was why he kept catching himself-- or getting caught-- just… staring at Aziraphale, memorizing the lines of his face, his profile, the way rays of the sun would illuminate Aziraphale’s hair. And Crowley was left smiling and boneless, warmth in his chest like a purring cat, curled in a ball with no intention of leaving.

Summary
Crowley's PTSD following the events of Repossession makes it difficult for him to leave the bookshop. Aziraphale worries that all the time spent associating "bookshop" with "safety" is making Crowley's recovery harder, and decides to push Crowley into running a solo errand. Crowley does his best, but triggers abound.
Be warned, this is a brutal one. There is a graphic flashback to a scene of sexual and psychological torture that does not appear in Repossession (but is pretty canon compliant with the events of that fic imo), so please be mindful.

Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley marry in secret, and while they have to be wary of possible scrutiny from Heaven and Hell, their lives are mostly happy as they tumble through human history together, playing at tempt-and-thwart. Their bliss is interrupted when Crowley is called upon to deliver the antichrist, and the coming war threatens to separate the two. With mounting worry over their respective sides, they’re forced to walk the tightrope, working with their agents to push Warlock Dowling towards neutrality. When their fumbling best is all for naught and fear of being caught in a compromising position separates them at a crucial juncture, the two are driven to desperate defiance. A for-want-of-a-nail style AU, combining Aziraphale and Crowley’s history as lovers and husbands and a spin on the canon events of The Little Armageddon That Couldn’t.
