I’m Sylvia Verdiheart, first floret of Lucinda Verdiheart. I met her after my neighborhood was abandoned, and she was kind enough to take me in. She gave me breakfast in bed, a bubble bath, and even a new laptop for writing. She took me to ‘the doctor’ so I could be registered at the new government, which means I get to have things like that every day from now on. I was rather anxious, but the medicine she offered me helped with that. I was actually a shut-in before, and I may still be, but at least I’m not alone anymore. And to be honest, I think I might be in love with her... in fact, I just told her.
She’s a bit different, but I’m not one to talk. Her leaves remind me of a fern, and she doesn’t have any flowers. Nor does she have hands, as she thinks doing everything with her vines is simply easier. But she’s a really good listener, and never forces anything on me. I’m glad she’s the way she is.
