Summary
Patton has always wanted to be a dad, but he's not able to have a child of his own, Not just because he's gay and happily married but he's infertile. (And far too moral to have someone carry his half child anyways..) However, after much consideration from his husband Janus, (After Patton begging for several months). The two decide to foster a child for Christmas, however the little toddler that they wanted to foster was Adopted before they can bring them home. Even though Patton is happy for the little one, he's still sad that he can't have a little one running around for Christmas. Janus wants nothing more than to make his Love happy so he looks for another child, coming across a teenage boy who's been bounced around so many times he's numb to it. They soon learn that maybe it wasn't just them who needed a family. But Virgil as well.

“Shit,” Buck breathed, backing up toward the middle of the room. “This is..." he looked around once more, "this is a setup.”
From above, there was a hiss. A faint metallic clink.

"I don't know," Buck says, his thumb swiping across Eddie's knuckles. "I don't understand it."
He may be the same, but looking at Eddie, Buck can see the years on him. His hair is a bit different, the creases by the corners of his eyes just a bit deeper. There's a new scar on his right hand that Buck hasn't seen before.He'd know these hands blind, but it takes him a moment to notice it still. His fingers brush over it once, and then again before he actually looks down and sees the thin golden band wrapped around Eddie's ring finger. Then he just—stares at it, stupidly, for a second. Before Eddie pulls his hands back, and leaves Buck's hanging empty in the space between them.
"You're married," he says.

Summary
The kidnapper watches the small screen next to the TV with an increasingly incredulous expression as the larger man slowly starts to scootch the chair he is tied to, inch by inch, to get closer to their second captive, unconscious in his own chair.
His hand keeps moving from the bowl of popcorn to his mouth mechanically while he continues to watch the men, more interested in what is happening on the smaller screen than in the movie scene that is happening on the larger one.
When the brown haired man starts to move his head, while the blond one obviously tries to get his attention, the kidnapper decides this has gone on long enough and rises from the scraggly couch, tucking his gun inside his waistband as he exits his room on his way to the prisoners.

Buck gets kidnapped, Eddie ... comes to the rescue?

Remus could remember the day he was taken like yesterday.
It was a sunny day, and he and his brother were playing outside, way past the time they were supposed to.
He could remember the hushed whispers of the adults, them talking about a group of scavengers that had been taking the boys of nearby villages.
He could remember the way his mother laughed as he told him not to worry.
"You worry too much, Remus! Let the adults handle that, okay?"
The last words his mother ever spoke to him were cheerful and lighthearted. Remus could remember how those words played through his head the night he was ripped out of his brother's arms by a strange man he had never seen before.He could remember the way his brother had cried out for him as he tried to defend his sibling with a broken wooden sword they had been playing with moments before.
Remus wasn't supposed to remember.

Thomas had never thought it was strange he could interact with his sides. But aware of how strange he looked to outsiders he had tried not to interact with them in front of people. Up until recently that was; now as he and Joan drove off to a random facility that claimed they could finally silence his sides (much to their collective dislike) he realized he should have been more careful. Upon arrival he's knocked out and his sides are brought into the real world. Ya! But now they are being used as lab rats. No! Now Janus has to hold himself and the other together long enough to make an escape. And maybe learn a thing or two about family along the way.
Basically a story about the sides trying to escape and find Thomas while also surviving through experimentation and emotional pressure. It is inspired by another fic titled Viscera I recommend reading that one too. Thomas isn't actually in this for very long.

The day the technology of the so-called "Dollhouse" becomes weaponized against the American population, one Thomas Sanders is unfortunate enough to have picked up the phone. The aspects of his personality are utterly unprepared for this, but like Hell they'll give up their Mindscape without a fight.
