Summary
He has to remind himself, more often than he would like to admit, that his clients are just that. Paying, emotionally closed off clients. It's just kinda hard to remember when an omega is pulling you back in their nest for and extra hour of cuddling, or when an alpha is pampering you through some well-deserved aftercare. When your clothes smell like them for the next few days, you pretty much already have all your guards down.
At least Taki does. Every time.

Summary
Mike and will drunkenly sleep together after Stacy’s party.
— or —
He’d thought he was over Mike. He’d told himself he was. He’d accepted that Mike would never feel the same way. Mike wasn’t like him. Untouchable. Unavailable. A dead end. He’d made peace with that over 18 months ago when the world was ending.
But now Mike was here. And he was touching him. Looking at him like this. Like he wanted him.
And Will was too drunk, too raw, too undone to shove the feelings back down where they belonged.

“Are you…curious about trying it?”
Jiang Cheng flinches. His fight or flight instincts are screaming at him to get up and leave, to avoid whatever ridicule is about to come his way if he answers. He breathes in deep through his nose and meets Lan Huan’s warm, dark gaze.
“Maybe,” he murmurs. “Yeah, I guess.”
————
Or; Jiang Cheng finds out that Lan Huan is into BDSM and proceeds to act extremely normal and chill about it

Summary
“Why are you crying, gē?” A child’s hand reached up to brush away the wetness. “Does it hurt?” Jin Ling grabbed desperately at the wrist of the small hand. “Gē?”
“...Jiùjiu…?” Jin Ling finally cleared enough of his vision to meet large grey eyes. He laughed a little breathlessly, wiping more of his tears away in disbelief. “Jiùjiu!”
“Did you lose your Jiùjiu?” the child asked. “I’ll help you find him, gē! My name’s Jiang Cheng.”
or: Two years after the events of the Guānyīn temple, a monumental error on a night hunt renders Jiang Cheng back to being a 8 year old child, which has more consequences than anyone could have expected.

Summary
Yu Ziyuan grunted loudly in pain as she gave birth to her second child. The pregnancy had been long and painful, but now her baby was finally here. She waited for the cries of her baby as she gave the last push. However, even after the baby was born, it did not cry.
"What's wrong?" she asked the nursemaids, who were scurrying around her.
"Madam Yu, congratulations. You have given birth to a baby boy. Unfortunately, the baby is both blind and deaf."
She could not believe her ears.
"Then get rid of him. He'll be a burden to this family if we keep him. It would be a waste of supplies and money to tend to him," Jiang Fengmian said from the doorway. He had heard everything.
Yu Ziyuan ultimately agreed. She took her son from the head healer and held him loosely for a moment, watching him with disappointed eyes, before handing him over to the nursemaid ordered to kill him. Said nursemaid doesn't actually kill him.
What happens when, 15 years later, a strange boy accompanied by a small girl, ends up saving a certain group from the waterborne abyss in Caiyi town and is taken back to Cloud Recesses afterwards?
