Summary
When Hiccup moved into the small town of Burgess, all he had ever been told was to not go into the woods that surrounded their little town.
Apparently there was stories of a boy who died in the lake that lay in the heart of that forest. According to the stories he rose out of the lake later that night, freezing the forest as he searched for something. For what exactly? Nobody knows. The boy still roams throughout the forest, looking for a friend to spend eternity with. Or at least that's what they say.
But nobody believes that, of course. Or at least that's what they say. Hiccup couldn't help but notice how people still avoided that forest. How the people told their kids not to go anywhere near it or else they might get snatched by the spirit who wandered in it.
What else could Hiccup do but prove them otherwise.
Or- Hiccup decides to go exploring a haunted woods and finds the thing that died in the lake. And is it more familiar than he realized?

For the first time in what felt like years, when the sun rose the world didn’t fall apart again. No screams of Terrible Terrors alerting them to a threat over the horizon, no explosions from the twins, no appearances from Astrid telling them they had to get to morning drills, and best of all no new complaints to the newly appointed chief over the state of the village. It was the best birthday wish Hiccup could ever ask for, but something in his gut told him it wouldn't last no matter how much Jack told him otherwise. After a lazy morning in bed a promise was made on the morning of the Hiccup's birthday that Jack wouldn't leave him. After awhile he began to believe him.
But he was right, and now he's gone.Series

Summary
Mermaids weren't real. Or at least that's what Hiccup had always been told anyway.
So imagine his surprise when word comes from the Markets in the North that Viggo was holding an auction with his grand prize being a creature only seen in myth. Feeling without a choice and despite the large bounty on his head, Hiccup and Snotlout (Who was most definitely not invited) go to find the truth and find a merman who is without a doubt real and apparently cursed on top of that.
Now, the three of them are on the run from bounty hunters, monster hunters, the Grimborns, and a horde of angry Vikings led by Stoick who thinks Hiccup is being kidnapped. Can Hiccup, Snotlout, and Jack somehow clear up this misunderstanding? Or will the sea swallow any chance for reconciliation?Series

Summary
In retrospect, maybe it wasn't such a great idea to have a movie date to Avengers Infinity War before going to Rapunzel's house for a spa night. Though in Hiccup's defense, he didn't realize that Spider-man, Jack's favorite superhero, was going to (spoiler). And how could he not take him to the movie? They'd made a tradition out of seeing the Avengers movies in theaters since they were kids, he couldn't just break a ten year old tradition! It was basically a commitment at this point.
While Hiccup knows this was going to lanuch them both into a debate, will he still have time to ask Jack to move in together?

“Did I do something wrong?” Mike questions, mouth twisted in a frown, eyes less wide than they were a few moments ago, sleepiness gone. His arms stay at his sides, although his fingers fiddle with his sleeves. “What did I do wrong?”
Will frowns back. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”
Mike doesn’t look like he believes him. Will doesn’t blame him. “Then why do you keep leaving?”
The world ends, and then some. Mike and Will find each other again, amidst the debris and distance.
