Summary
Mikey is used to being invisible. Used to only getting attention by being punished. All his life by his father until he was 17.
Splinter wanted to be closer to his family. At first it was fine. The hugs, the attention. Until it felt too intimate and made him uneasy. What happened the week before made Mikey never want to be with his father alone again.
He didn't really DO anything then though
Why would he now?
Maybe he's just "not used to it"

Summary
A few fics that I have had plans for since last year and just seeing if anyone would be interested in reading if I keep writing them.
I'm not entirely sure if I'll get around to them anytime soon with iwnhy but whenever that is complete I may focus on one of these.
1. Dependence (based from x.bluell goretober on tiktok). After the invasion Leo needs immediate care but with Donnie recently more relying on his ninpo hasn't brought the med bay suitable for something to this degree and is ultimately useless (later on will have body mutilation and body horror)
2. Dementia Mikey au. future Michaelangelo has been warned not to overuse his ninpo as they don't know the consequences besides aging (will gradually have symptoms of dementia and hardships of what comes with it for him and his family. Casey Jr growing up being close to him in childhood and will grow up until eventually Mikey won't remember who himself or anyone else is

Summary
Leo took a long, deep, steadying breath before opening the large double doors. The room was dark and gathering dust and cobwebs from the lack of cleaning and anyone visiting the shrine of the Homato family members who fell from the decades of war.
It's been way too long since he visited them, he knew. It was just so hard now that he was the only brother and Homato member left.
Leo visits the family shrine for Christmas. Filled with grief and guilt wondering what the purpose to even continue fighting for something he would ultimately lose as well.

Leo understood the stakes. The younger three were barely allowed to remain in Raph's care, let alone if they lost everything. If they were on the streets with no food for Raph, no anti-seizure meds for Donnie, no comfy bed for Mikey…
Yeah, no. Leo could totally do this. “Go with your gut. Whichever way you wanna go, I support you. And I’ll take on as many shifts as they’ll give me until you get back to your bread-winning self. Don’t even worry about it — hey Raphie, look at me.”
Raph audibly sniffed and turned his red rimmed eyes at his younger brother. Welling with frustrated tears. It was clear all over him that this wasn’t what he wanted.
But life wasn’t fair. Leo learned that a long time ago. He squished the arm in his grasp and said, coaxing and calm, “It’s gonna be fineee, I promise we can handle this. I’ve got your back.”

Summary
Of the ways Sasha feared her and Anne's five year relationship would hit rocky ground, Anne hiring a close up magician for their anniversary instead of proposing was pretty highly ranked. Having that magician live with them for months while Sasha had to deal with the tortuous and ever growing crush she was developing on her was much more out of the blue. It's okay, though, Sasha has a foolproof plan to ignore her crush on Marcy so her relationship with Anne stays perfectly safe: she just has to ball up all those pesky feeling in her chest, tamp them down into a little ball, and then eventually she'll die.
What do you mean, that's not healthy?
