Summary
The first two nights, Harry sleeps like the dead— or, well, maybe that's not the best comparison, given the number of inferi attacks reported lately.
He sleeps like a log. Like a dead log. An un-re-animated dead log. From an everyday, inanimate, non-whomping tree.
After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.

When Harry Potter received his Hogwarts letter, he found out the terrible truth; his parents abandoned him, the world thought him dead, and he had a younger twin brother who was hailed as a hero. His parents were public figures who would not like to see their dirty secret resurface. His godfather, the only person who might care about his continued existence, had split from the Potters and left Britain soon after. Harry could contact him, but did not want to risk facing another rejection. Fear won out: he entered Hogwarts under an assumed name. He Sorted Ravenclaw and never let himself look at Charlie Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived in Gryffindor. He focused on his studies and his friends. For three years, he didn't make waves.
He entered fourth year expecting much of the same. Then the Triwizard tournament was announced, and the papers claimed that Sirius Black would be accompanying the Durmstrang delegation.

“Ya know, Katniss and I. We’ve been luckier than most. I wouldn’t have any regrets at all…” and he pauses. “I-if it weren’t…if it weren’t for…” he shakes his head.
“If it weren’t for… what what?” Caesar prompts.
“If it weren’t for the baby.”
And nothing could have prepared her for that.
The only reason Katniss regrets that night from four months ago is because of everything that came after. The pain she caused him, when he realized it wasn’t real, just like everything else about their relationship. The way he pretended she didn’t exist, for months after the second victory tour. But specifically this part, where she’s being forced back into a death arena while four months pregnant. It would make her inevitable death so much easier to accept if that night had never happened.
Peeta isn’t supposed to know. So why is he telling Caesar, and all of Panem, on national television?
OR: the fic where Everlark aren’t together yet, Katniss is pregnant during the Quarter Quell, Peeta isn’t supposed to know but then figures it out, Peeta never gets taken by the Capital and hijacked, and they try to live their “happily ever after”.

A time-travel fix it fic that would not leave my brain. We are in for a wild ride with this one.

“Er. Yes?” Did this person know this world’s Harry? They didn’t look exactly the same, but they were certainly similar enough that someone could easily mistake one for the other. Inwardly he winced at the thought, not many people knew of him yet, and this could make for a very uncomfortable explanation. Briefly Harry scanned the stranger — sandy brown hair, brown eyes, not very tall — nope, he had no idea who this was, didn’t recognize him from his world. He stood there nervously, trying to calculate how best to get himself out of this.The man made a frustrated noise. “No, I meant — okay,” he held up a finger, throwing his bag down and moving back a couple of steps.
“Wha—” The rest of his question choked in Harry’s throat as the man turned into a dog. A very familiar dog. “Snuffles?”
