Summary
Dazai was standing by the window now, where the late afternoon light spilled in through thin curtains. The sunlight caught the dust in the air, caught the edges of his hair — soft brown shifting to gold — and framed him in warmth Kunikida had never associated with the man before.
He looked... peaceful.
No smirk. No half-lidded teasing look. Just Dazai, quiet and waiting, the light wrapping around him like it had decided to forgive him for something Kunikida didn’t yet understand.
(It shouldn’t make his throat go dry. It really shouldn’t.)

When the Agency assigns Kunikida and Dazai to pose as newlyweds for an undercover mission, Kunikida expects nothing more than migraines and paperwork. Between the two, Kunikida learns that love isn’t something to be planned — and Dazai learns it might be something he’s allowed to keep.

Summary
New York City has a vast array of vigilantes and superheroes that call its streets home. Dazai Osamu, Port Mafia Executive and Mori Ougai’s right hand, is deployed to start building relationships in the area. Mori, ever the fan of tests, leaves Dazai to figure out how to best handle the local vigilantes on his own.
And Frank Castle? He’s just worried that keeping this kid who refuses to identify himself alive may be more difficult than he was hoping.
Or; a city-wide adventure, hotel hopping, forging friendships with local heroes and a long-winded game of cat and mouse, all featuring an embittered Veteran and a suicidal teenage boy.
