You're a human so it makes sense if you have to work a little harder to achieve success in classes about literal magic, right? It really doesn't help when Mammon straight blows your cover and basically admits he won't stop texting and calling you every night. And you were doing so good at keeping up your stupid lie you built from the bottom up…
Oh wait, what? You need to stop letting Mammon keep you up all night with his endless, bothersome texting? No, yeah, right, totally, totally. But like — you still gotta stay up and study though, right?

“What is happening here, Barbatos?”, you asked. There was surprised silence on the other side of the line.
“Listen well now, MC. The student council has succumbed to their demon forms. You need to restrain each one of them before their destructive drive awakens.”
“And how do I restrain demons? They are way stronger than me.” You tried not to show it but you were scared. The demon brothers were really demons now? And you were supposed to stand up against them? On your own??
“Take the pendant. You need to trick your opponent into kissing it. It will restrain them by itself.” Barbatos sounded strained. “Lord Diavolo and I hurry to the House of Lamentation as fast as possible.”
“Okay. They just have to kiss a piece of wood. No problem”, you answered. You felt like laughing hysterically.
You had probably imagined your return to the House of Lamentation after a nice holidays at Diavolo's beach and the Hot Springs differently. But maybe Lucifer wasn't wrong when he called you a magnet for trouble :^)
