Summary
Being a frightfully important scientist - Tyrion Lannister keeps mentioning Nobel Prizes, which is not pressuring whatsoever - Professor Willas Tyrell has to spend two weeks in Dorne liaising with his scientific partner over Very Important DNA Breakthroughs. This does not go quite to plan when a) he overdoes it on the wine during the flight because b) the pilot has the sort of voice that encourages spontaneous orgasm and then c) Lannist-Air loses his luggage.
Alternatively: the one where Oberyn's in a pilot's uniform, and Willas' voice kink is a bit of an issue.

The Mayflower series of fics are very loosely interlinked; in them, Tyrion Lannister owns a pub called The Mayflower. It is based on the Rotherhithe pub of the same name. The oldest pub on the Thames, it is.
Consider it as a voyage down the trouser legs of time - separate universes linked by Tyrion's pub being in all of them.
Oh yes, everything is set in 2008. Don't ask me why. It was a weird year.
