“Yeah, yeah,” Zoro interrupts, snatching the tankard and chugging it down in one go, “I’m not here to talk about plants ‘n’ dirt. Just wanted some booze.”

Zoro looks up at him, staring as if he’s trying to square something in his head, muttering, “How the hell d’you play a guitar while you’re up on a pole...?”
Franky raises an eyebrow, putting a massive hand on his hip, “Roll it back a step, man; what would I be doing on a pole?”
Zoro looks a little constipated, clearly trying to be delicate for some reason (did something happen?), “I thought that was what strippers did? Get on a pole – take their clothes off and stuff...”
-The crew dock at a small, inconspicuous island to restock for a few days, but after the first day there Zoro starts acting strange and getting the crew's roles and jobs confused. Is he drunk? Or has something else happened?

Most of the time he could cope. Occasionally, the pain was so unbearable he could barely function. But as the strawhats' first mate, he couldn't afford to have his vulnerabilities exposed, lest it put the crew in danger.
How lucky for him, then, that everything he needed during a bad chronic pain flare-up conveniently turned up on its own.

“What’s going on?” came a shrill voice from the doorway. There was Nami, arms folded and scowling with displeasure. Behind her, barely visible in the background, Sanji and Usopp crowded nearby to see what was going on. “Chopper, what are you doing? Just let her give you the medicine already!”
“It’s not medicine,” Chopper said, voice trembling. Zoro clenched a fist to keep from reaching back towards him, to stay focused. “It’s pentobarbital. They use it to put down animals.”
Silence met that remark. No one so much as breathed.

Another island, another monster. Everything was going the same as usual, except for one thing. Sanji was clearly afraid of the giant insects threatening to rip them apart, and Zoro was the only one around to deal with it.
OR
When Zoro wakes up from his nap only to hear Sanji screaming, he's confident it's about one of two things. Either someone insulted Nami and Robin, or something was really wrong.

Sanji hadn't expected Zeff to get so mad at him for playing with carrots during a busy dinner service. He goes to bed that night anticipating the worst, and when Zeff shakes him awake from a nightmare, Sanji fears he might have actually gone too far this time. There can only be one reason for the dark stairway Zeff's dragging him to in the middle of the night.

The Strawhats have that special relationship cementing their bonds as one of a family. That is true now, after all of their adventure. But relationships don’t just “click” together. No one can live in a community without communication when they see each other 24/7.
Everyone needs to make little gestures to understand each other better.
And despite what Luffy wishes for, in a pirate crew, there are moments where responsibility and authority got to take over. Where the three vital roles of a pirate crew need to assert the necessary dominance in order to survive in hostile water.And since no one talks about it well… I’ll do it myself !
