Summary
The prequel for my next fic (unposted) featuring Prowl/Reader/Jazz. It sets up the established relationship needed for the main one to make a bit more sense.
The premise is simple:
Lord Jazz just wants to be but that's just not at all how politics work. -

Summary
Jazz has shared a berth with you for a long time now. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement between friends that he insisted was never going to develop into anything serious. You believed him. Jazz was always a flighty mech after all, so what reason did you have to assume otherwise? You were content despite knowing that at any time it could be shattered with a single word. No one ever expected that word to come from you. And it was all Prowl's fault.
(Basically, Jazz is a miserably jealous, oblivious ass that can't understand why he's so pissed and heartbroken when you decide to try out your luck at true love with the new arrival, Prowl.)

Summary
As a child, you didn't care much for the war.
It was to be expected to some extent: too stupid to understand politics; too young to've learned the history; too naive to see it as something bad.
But you didn't care.
And you wouldn't care.
Not until you were fifteen. Not until you met the Avatar. -

Summary
I didn’t want to live with his friend; I wanted to live with Sam. I didn’t like humans; I liked Sam. I didn’t want to be a part of human life; I wanted to be a part of Sam’s life. It was Sam and it was that simple. But it was Sam so it wasn’t.

Summary
You watched the rest of the Raimon team file out of the room at the nurses’ bidding and sighed heavily. It was late and you were tired but you didn’t feel like making the trek back to your room. You were lingering on the edge of his bed, trying to work up the will to get your limbs to move when he spoke to you, “You can stay here if you like.”
You raised your eyebrows in surprise. Your expression must’ve been comical because he laughed. It was such a nice sound, prettier than even a girl’s and you tried not to fidget at the heat wave that suddenly assailed you. His eyes closed with his laughter so he didn’t see it when your own widened in surprise at the intense interest certain parts of your body had taken in him. No, no, no, no. Not now. Not him.

Summary
You should’ve known. It was so obvious that you honestly felt like an idiot for being so shocked when it finally came down to it. It always happened this way. You had your own personal warning, too, and you’d still been unprepared.
To your credit, you did not often remember the dreams you had. The ones you did remember were vague and could not be pieced together without outside knowledge.
And let’s face it; who honestly thought that an alien race of super-advanced fighting robots could really be in existence? -

Summary
Contrary to popular belief, being an athlete is tiring. It's also time-consuming and lonely and to be honest? Winning doesn't really appeal to you. You continue on competing because you've a serious obligation but your resolve is weakening. A group of strange young men don't do anything to help things along, of course, except for that teeny tiny small part where they actually do. And isn't that a strange development considering they're literally tearing your life apart!
