    Bruce swallows past the almost-truth of it. In Clark's warm smooth radio voice, it sounds plausible. It sounds like something that could happen.

    The Batmobile is loud.

    This is obvious— the Batmobile is a warning siren, a threat and a comfort all at once, depending on who you are. Obviously it’s going to be loud– hell, the engine is audible from blocks away if the damn thing’s going fast enough.

    The other vehicles— the assorted cars and bikes of Gotham’s bats and birds— aren’t as extreme. The Batmobile is undoubtedly the most juiced up of the bunch; nothing else is quite as… intense. Earthshaking. Headache-inducing. But they’re still capital-L Loud.

    Loud enough that Gotham’s fast food workers can identify each of them by the sound of the engine revving alone.

    Or: The younger vigilantes of Gotham get hungry on patrol every so often.
