Saliva fills Mike’s mouth in a rush, fangs aching; he swallows.
“Yeah, I’m good,” a slow blink,
“Just… hungry.”

Mike was bitten by a demo-bat in season 4, leaving him to learn how to live the rest of his life as a vampire. The biggest thing he had to learn? Asking permission for everything. He never had time to ask himself why his desire for Will's blood felt so different; not until they were living in a shoebox of a dorm room together. Now he can't escape Will's scent, the beat of his heart, the blood in his veins.

Summary
Mike Wheeler had no idea who the hell he was outside of Hawkins, Indiana.
A year of community college had done nothing but solidify that fact in his mind. In a desperate attempt to force himself to move on, he decided to join Dustin and Will at IU for his sophomore year as an English major. It seemed though, that the dark cloud that'd been hovering over his head ever since they lost Jane wasn't leaving any time soon. While everyone around him had learned to live with what happened, Mike couldn't find a way to move on, only to exist. Every time he got that feeling in his chest when he looked at Will, he couldn't help but feel like he was betraying her.
The cut of guitar strings into the pads of his fingers wouldn't make his heart flip traitorously in his chest, so long as he avoided playing songs that made him think of, well...

Summary
The Eye and the Hand of Vecna are living conduits through which Vecna perceives and manipulates the boundary between worlds: the Eye senses proximity, truth, and emotional resonance, while the Hand endures pain to translate that awareness into action. Together, they form a closed circuit; one that allows Vecna not just to observe, but to teach, conditioning his chosen vessels through suffering and attention rather than control.

After the battle at the Mac-Z, Will can feel Vecna again- not control, not visions, just pressure. Proximity. Summary
