He reached out to take Edwin’s hand.
“I realized…I loved you, that I’m in love with you,” Charles said, his eyes moving from his hands to meet Edwin’s. He was crying as well, his hand gripping Charles tighter.
“And you were gone, I couldn’t tell you, I wouldn’t be able to kiss you or hold you. It just started and ended at that very moment.” Charles tripped over some of his words before shuttering, he breathed deeply.
[aka Edwin is badly hurt to the point he falls into some sort of ghost coma, Charles inevitably has a revelation.]

Summary
“You were jealous weren’t you?” Edwin said with a smile growing on his face. Charles ducked his head hiding the non-existent blush on his face. Edwin moved until his whole body was facing Charles, straddling his boyfriend's lap.
“Maybe,” Charles said as he brought his hands up to cover his face. Edwin reached forward and grabbed his hands bringing them down to his lap, his thumbs drawing circles on the back of Charles' hands.
“You know that I’m yours,” Edwin said, ducking his head to try and get Charles to look at him, which he did. Charles smiled and stared at their joined hands before speaking.
“I know, It’s not that it’s-” He paused for a second, admiring his partner’s loving gaze.

“What’s not true?” Edwin whispered. His voice was incapable of becoming any louder.
Charles smiled, as his tears fell. He held Edwin’s face so gently, wiping away the tears that stained his partners cheeks.
“That I’m not in love with you,” Charles whispered, Edwin wouldn’t have heard him if it wasn’t so quiet in their office.
His heart jumped at his words. What?
“What?” Edwin said, his words stuttering.

Summary
Charles felt as if his senses were on fire. His hands shook, and his ears rang. The encounter with the night nurse not only caused a breakdown but overstimulation. Charles hated this. It didn't make sense how overwhelmed he could become even though he couldn't physically feel anything.
That was Charles' problem when he was alive, he would become so overwhelmed by his emotions that everything else seemed impossible. Touching anything felt nauseating and his hearing was sensitive to the slightest noise. Something may be too bright for him, or not bright enough. Charles has dealt with these happenings since he was little.
Nothing felt right during these times.

Summary
The boys don’t understand how they got themselves into this position. They were helping a client remove a cursed object from their home and with Charles's graceful movements, he ran into the table causing the circular music box to roll off the table. As it hit the ground the glass music box shattered sending a wave of energy pulsing toward the detectives.
And Edwin was reminded of what the curse did.
Charles’s and Edwin's chests were inches apart, their hands clasped together. Edwin’s other hand was on Charles' upper back and the other boy's hand was below Edwin's shoulder blade.
A dancing curse.
“You alright?” Charles asked as Edwin breathed heavily from the impact of the curse.
Edwin nodded and looked up at Charles.
Before Edwin could reply, their bodies snapped into place, shoulders back, head held high. Music started to fill their ears and without the boy's permission, they started to waltz.

“No you didn’t, dear!” Aziraphale said in excitement and surprise at the sudden gift. Crowley smirked and walked past Aziraphale to the record to gently take off the other record that almost molded into the player.

The man was pushed off of Miles, the man fell on the ground and Miles quickly backed away from the wall so he couldn't be cornered, as he moved away from the wall he backed into someone. He felt long arms snaking around his waist from behind. He knew it was Hobie instantly.

“Miles..” Hobie said in disbelief, shaking his head as he got closer to the boy. His eyes grew wide, his breathing quickening, he gripped the boy tighter, heat building in his chest.
“Miles…” he said again
“MILES!” Hobie yelled, his sobs becoming more audible, he was shaking the boy, trying to get him to open his eyes.
That’s what drew the Captain's attention, his son's name being yelled. He walked back up to see his son, his body next to a sobbing Spider-Man.

Miles closed his eyes as well, listening to the boy next to him.
There was a pause in the singing, Miles smiling at the music.

Miles opened his eyes at that lyric. He found Hobie staring at him, seeing the same warmth and affection. The older boy looked away quickly, his hands stilling on the strings.
Miles smiled and moved closer, Hobie didn’t look back embarrassed that Miles caught him staring. He reached up and slid his hand against the Punk’s cheek, holding his face gently. Hobie turned to look at Miles because of the action and found a loving gaze.
The shorter boy turned his body to face Hobie, his other hand found its way onto Hobie’s other cheek. The punk's heart was beating out of his chest, his breathing uneven. They’ve never been this close.
His fingers twinged nervously.
Miles got even closer.

The image of his double appeared in his head, the look of nothing, he didn’t look like a person, he looked like he’d killed people without feeling anything. That couldn’t have been his alternate, Miles would never do that he wouldn’t!
Miles shifted closer to Hobie, feeling safer in his presence. The punk could see the tears in his eyes before Miles felt them. Hobie didn’t know how to comfort people, never has. But in that moment he pulled Miles against his chest, holding him tight. Miles held him tighter, the tears from his eyes seeping into Hobie’s shirt.

“What,” Eddie said, keeping a stern look on his face. Steve swallowed quickly and his grip loosened on the door. Steve stepped closer.
“Go on a drive with me,” Steve said, Eddie could see the lust in his eyes and the want dripping from his words.
Eddie knew he should say no and close the door in his face. But Eddie couldn't help but think about being able to touch Steve in all the ways he wants to. The memory of Steve moaning Eddie's name echoed through his head.

Steve stood on the hillside where the dead flowers and the thriving ones mixed. And the person they thought was dead in the upside-down was walking towards them.
Steve was at a loss for words, he could not believe what he saw.
“Eddie,” Steve said his voice choked up. The others were behind Steve. I think they were just as confused as Steve was.
Eddie looked horrible but he also didn’t seem to be in pain. A smile appeared on his face and tears fell down his cheeks.
“Steve,” Eddie sobbed out.
