Changbin’s eyes flit down, lingering on his clenched fist before coming back up to his face. His stone faced expression gives away nothing. “Okay, you can go first.”
Seungmin doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction by questioning him and quite frankly he doesn’t want to continue a conversation with him. He turns around and continues moving forward, a little bit faster than he previously was. But that’s not because he has anything to prove to Changbin.
In a doorway of a dark room he sees something out of the corner of his eye, Seungmin’s reflexes cause him to jump straight into action and he drives his knife into the temple of what he thinks is a zombie.
“Congrats Sweetheart, you just killed a mannequin.”
- The world is dead. Seungmin just wants to find his brother. Instead he stumbles upon a camp where he meets Changbin, who teaches Seungmin a thing or two about living in the apocalypse.

Half a decade after Viktor leaves Piltover for good, a fragment of Hexcore permanently adhered to his soul, an old friend comes to him for help. This wouldn't be an issue, if the same old friend hadn't spent the last five years trying to hit him, very hard, with a really big hammer.
“You’re not real,” Viktor repeated, closing his eyes. Even with the knowledge that this was a dream, the gentle touch unraveled him. There was an impact crater where his heart should be.
The calloused pad of Jayce's thumb found the corner of Viktor’s mouth. “All right. I’ll bite – what’s your evidence for this hypothesis?”

“Crystal, what has happened here?”, he asks, and a few seconds later, their new psychic is standing in front of him, trousers splashed with the coffee she dropped, disbelief written across her face. “I was gone for a few hours and now Charles… and the whole building…”
He’s not quite sure how to put it, most likely because he still doesn’t understand, and Crystal looks at him like he come back from the Cat King’s lair with an additional head.
“Edwin”, she says, slowly, like she is still searching for the words, “what are you talking about? You’ve been gone for six weeks.”____________
Edwin takes the Cat King up on his initial offer, so instead of a few hours, he is gone for six weeks.

“Hypnos can sing?” Zag asks, surprised. He can’t imagine the high voice of Sleep singing such a tune, though the God was full of surprises.
“No,” Nyx corrects, “Thanatos.”

That night, their meeting goes on longer than expected when the conversation turns to what it means to live, to lose, and to be the fathers of dead sons. Unable to bear the thought of sending a man who so echoes Dream's own grief back into the night alone, Dream breaks his own rule and invites Hob to stay with him for a time, at least until he can get back on his feet.
The story of two grief-stricken, divorced, and widowed fathers to sons they lost too young truly seeing one another and there, at their lowest point, doing their best to put themselves and each other back together.
