"Yeah. Not camp, just the cabin." Pete shrugs and stuffs another unfolded shirt into his bag. "I'm switching with Baker. You know Baker, right?"
"I'm that bad of a roommate, huh?" Collie says, using a light tone to mask the hurt because, damn, it hurts. He'd still held hope that he could've caught enough of Pete's attention to be viewed as an option. And if not that, he hoped they'd become good friends and spend more time together. But if Pete will be rooming with Garraty now, that hope is dashed. They'll be even more absorbed by each other than before.
Pete laughs. "Naw, compadre, you've been great. It's just better this way. Anyway — Baker. He's an amazing guy. Reminds me of you. You'll get along fine."

The cabin door slams open. Peeking through the loft's balustrade, Collie sees McVries and Garraty stumble inside, attached at the lips. Sighing, he thumps his head against the futon. Whatever. They'll continue into the master bedroom; as long as they don't get too fucking loud in there, he can pretend he never saw them.
Except they don't continue into the master bed.
(Or, Collie's plan not to rush his relationship with Art gets a little bit... de-railed.)

Summary
It’s a solid hour since the final bell rang to announce the end of the school day, and yet Eddie Munson is stuck waiting under the bleachers in the empty gym, hoping to snag a ride home with Gareth since his van chose that morning to crap out on him.
Still, it’s not all bad. He finally has a moment of privacy away from judgmental stares and scathing insults; a little bit of much needed peace and quiet.
That is, until the gym doors slam open and a panicked Steve Harrington is sprinting in, throwing himself under the bleachers and slamming into him like a 5’11” freight train of wiry muscle, expensive cologne, and perfect hair.

Summary
Eddie can’t figure it out. They’re barely even friends. But Steve was there when Eddie woke up in the hospital. Steve went back to what remained of the old trailer to rescue Eddie’s books and his concert t-shirts and his guitar. Steve paid for a fucking tutor to come to the hospital, and later to Steve’s kitchen, to help Eddie get through his finals so he could actually, finally graduate. Steve even threw him a graduation party afterwards, which was just Eddie running a D&D one-shot for the kids in the massive Harrington living room. Although Steve drew the line at joining the game, he did buy them all pizza.
The point is, no one has ever done this much for Eddie in his life. (Well, he knows some very scary people in suits did something to get the murder charges against him dropped, but that happened while he was mostly unconscious, and he still doesn’t know or want to know the details.) As far as he can tell, Steve has spent every waking moment since dragging Eddie’s bleeding skin sack out of the Upside Down trying to make sure Eddie never wants for anything again.
And that just makes the wanting so much worse.

Summary
Someone should... definitely check on how his brain is doing, after Eddie’s confession. Virginity is bullshit anyway, right? Robin told him about it, how it’s a completely made-up societal construct that invalidates a lot of queer people’s sexual experiences, and how toxic it can be to straight relationships too, so he can take her lesson to heart and be normal about it. Totally.
“That’s so fucking hot,” he blurts out.
Okay Harrington, way to be normal about it!
Or, Steve is experienced, and Eddie is a virgin.
