Summary
This series will contain 2 or 3 fics about Talace and Astarion and their relationship pre, during, and post game. I went hard into the DnD Drow sauce for this one lads.
This series will also contain lots of recounting of past trauma, abuse, torture, and rape. But Astarion and Talace's relationship contains none of that. That's stuff that they both have been through and they do talk and think about it. Hence the hurt in the hurt/comfort tags.
Power Games is from Astarion's POV. Broken Promises, Shattered Chains is mostly from Talace's, with one Astarion POV chapter.

Summary
"No matter how desperate I get," Shadowheart says through gritted teeth, "I'm not that desperate."
But her body is betraying her. It's responding to Lae'zel's suggestion, rising like a well-stoked fire, and Lae'zel lowers herself to the ground near Shadowheart's feet. Shadowheart's legs shift to accommodate her in an instinct so bone-deep that she can't stop it before Lae'zel is filling the space.
"Give in to your desires, istik. Submit to me. In my experience," Lae'zel says, crawling slowly up Shadowheart's willing body, "the hatred will only make it sweeter."
And then Shadowheart is being kissed so thoroughly that she forgets her own name.
OR
Shadowheart doesn't know much about her past, or her future, or even who she is beyond what Shar asks of her. But she knows one thing. She hates Lae'zel. She hates her so much that the gith hardly leaves her mind, and there's nothing that could possibly change that.
A tale of misplaced hatred, building trust, and finding new purpose.

Perfect. I seriously didn't consider shipping this but now I do and I want more. Grey Warden Bethany or even Circle Mage Bethany hooking up with Varric after DAI. That's what this fic has made me crave. This is poignant with just the right amount of angst. Also their Varric voice is spot on.
