Henry has only been in the brownstone a week when he finds the box of items left behind in the attic.
It should probably be alarming from a security perspective. Then again, there’s very obviously nothing dangerous here. Some of it—most of it—is broken rubbish, but a few things are quite lovely. He picks through the box, pulling a few items out to add around the house; paraphernalia that will make it feel a little more like home.
If he’d known, perhaps he would have thrown it all out and been done with it.
Then again… perhaps not.
Or, the brownstone is haunted by some exceptionally horny ghosts, and their energy is contagious. Because what Alex and Henry's relationship was really missing was sexual chemistry.

“I’ll be right with you, sir.” He gives the man an ingratiating smile, hurrying through to the back to deposit the garments in his arms safely onto a rack, and then he balls his hands into fists and takes three very deep breaths, forming a list in his head. Alex is a grown adult who can cope in the presence of attractive people. Brits seem to find his accent charming, for the most part, and Alex does actually have game, even if it’s been a while since he’s had the opportunity to use it. He just has to go out there, treat him like any other customer, flirt a little, and then at the end of it he can ask the guy out for a drink or something. Easy.
Or, Savile Row tailors have spacious dressing rooms.

Alex awaits the opening ceremony, doing his best to swallow back his nerves. He can do this. He has prayed, and trained, and sacrificed. He can take a wreath home to Himera, make his family proud. He’s as prepared as he can possibly be.
And then Henry emerges from behind a group of other athletes, and all the breath is knocked from Alex’s body. Like Alex, like every other competitor here, Henry is dripping in perfumed oils and as naked as the day he was born, his physical prowess a tribute to Zeus. And it’s some tribute.
