Merlin is Arthur's new secretary and is oddly appealing. Also, just to complicate things, eccentric Uther has introduced a penpal scheme within the office to promote team unity, and despite initially being at blows, Arthur and his anonymous penpal are getting on extremely well. Somehow Arthur has to balance his physical attraction to Merlin, and his emotional attraction to his penpal... While baking some exceptional puddings, because lemon drizzle cake is nice.

Arthur Pendragon is the head chef at his father’s five-star restaurant. He doesn’t have time for a relationship even if he wanted one. Plus, all his friends are his coworkers and fear him as his father’s eyes and ears. He’s not the most popular kind of guy.
But he doesn’t need to be when an insubordinate new waiter starts and doesn’t seem to care for authority. Especially when the guy swipes a bottle of wine from the restaurant bar and proposes a drink to power a late night of work.
Needless to say, not much work takes place after that.

Royal Philharmonic Conductor Arthur Pendragon thinks he has everything under control, until his solo violinist calls in sick the night of a major concert and he's cumbered with a last minute substitute. The substitute in question, Merlin Emrys, is everything Arthur believes a lead violin shouldn't be: argumentative, riotous, not properly awed by tradition. But he still catches Arthur's eye because he plays beautifully and has an endearing way about him that's not easily ignored. And Arthur does try to stick to that ignoring option hard.
