There are things he wants, obviously; there are things he’s stolen because he’s wanted them or needed them, taken when maybe it wasn’t the best idea, or the smartest time. He doesn’t feel a compulsion, though, it’s not the same.
That’s not to say that sometimes- not often, but sometimes- he has needs.

At precisely thirty-eight minutes past two in the morning, Caleb jolts awake, sitting up in bed and heaving for air as if his life depends on it, chest rising and falling at an unnaturally fast pace.
At precisely thirty-nine minutes past two in the morning, he has to bite down hard on his own tongue to keep himself from vomiting, feeling so sick with himself that bile begins to rise in his throat.
He blinks two, three times, trying to stop the hot angry tears that are pooling in the corners of his eyes, threatening to spill and run down his cheeks at any second. His hands go to his head, pressing at his ears to try and stop the ringing, to block out the screams that still haunt and follow him, even now that he’s awoken from his nightmare.
Caleb awakens from a nightmare. Molly is already awake, and helps him out of it.

Summary
Abaddon was tired. So very tired.
The endless loops - 73? 80? 90? He didn't know how many times he had done this - had drained him. Had taken everything from him and left him so exhausted. Exhausted enough to just... Sleep.
And so he slept. He slept for 300 years, past the evolution of the town and the manor and the modern history since being possessed. The events remain the same, being found by Nathan, and taken to the manner and cared for... Yet everything is different now.
He didn't mean to change the events so much. He was just tired.
Meanwhile, Nathan is having a panic attack because he's convinced himself that he just rescued a child that a cult tried to sacrifice in the woods. From one cult survivor to another, it's a no brainer that he decides to keep this disturbed little boy.

After a moment, Nathan spoke. “Maybe?”
“And you didn’t tell me?”
“…No.” He collapsed into the desk chair, the old wheels squeaking and sliding underneath him. “I haven’t had him for that long, and he’s been having a hard time adjusting. I dont know, I’m just making up excuses.” He shook his head. “Are you mad?”
She hummed, thinking for a moment. “How old is he?” Which wasn’t an answer, but.
Nathan winced. “Uh, nine.”
“Thats a long time to keep a kid a secret.”
OR; Nathan tells a lie he is starting to get much too comfortable telling, and it leads him to taking Abaddon to Thanksgiving dinner
