Any other member of the party gets taken, the others still work themselves into the ground to save them, maybe keeping it together a little better because MC is still around to take the lead/emotional damage. Jayce looks at him like Viktor’s just said something incredibly and unbearably sad.

Jayce is silent for a long moment. Then:
