“Ok, that’s ok. Let me get you to the floor, you just need a second.” Niki said, keeping her voice calm and soothing. “Let’s just have a bit of a sit down, you’ll feel better.”
Tommy nodded, his eyes glossing and his breath heavy. “I don’t think it’s working. Something is wrong.”
She nodded sympathetically “You’re ok, it’s ok. Here, I’ll go get some water.” She went to stand, but Tommy grabbed her sleeve weakly.
“Please don’t leave” he begged softly, a little scared that she’d refuse.
Niki looked at her softly. “Of course Tommy, I’ll stay.” She reassured, sitting right besides Tommy, who wrapped his arms around her and curled up. He looked so small.
“I’m feeling… A bit calm… But I’m still dizzy.” He said slowly, the potion taking effect.
“Why don’t you close your eyes? It might help with the dizziness” She offered helpfully. Tommy nodded, before closing his eyes. Niki stroked his hair gently, which seemed to relax him. Soon enough Tommy was sound asleep, practically purring with his head in her lap as she stroked his hair.
OR-Niki decides to kidnap Tommy and taking him to her underground city before anyone else has a chance to hurt him
