Was man liebt, will man festhalten und nie wieder loslassen.
Aber meistens muss man im Leben immer erstmal eins - die Dinge aushalten.Oder:
Die Tage nach der Explosion werden für Adam zu einer Zerreißprobe. Alleine in Leos Wohnung muss er damit zurechtkommen, dass er vielleicht gerade den wichtigsten Menschen in seinem Leben verliert. Ein Aschenbecher, der eigentlich gar nicht da sein sollte, ist dabei die denkbar schlechteste Gesellschaft, aber irgendwie schafft Adam es dann doch, darüber zu einer Erkenntnis zu kommen.
Es hat ja niemand versprochen, dass die Liebe einfach wäre.Eine Coda zu "Das Ende der Nacht".

Jedediah and Octavius were content to leave the Tablet in London. It was the least any of them could do to repay Ahkmenrah for his generosity over the years. They’d go back to what they were always meant to be: wax miniatures intended to teach people about history.
But saying goodbye is difficult. It’s hard to say all that you want to say when the sun is about to rise. It’s hard to let go.
It’s even harder when there are so many feelings left unsaid.
