    Walking up to the mirror in the room, Cheng Xiaoshi looked at his reflection. Besides how disheveled he looked, he pulled down the collar of his shirt, revealing a purple bite mark. For someone who was never going to marry him, he was pretty quick to leave a mating bite.

    Frustrated, Cheng Xiaoshi let go of his collar, the fabric covering the mark again. It seemed like the only thing it was good for was to torment him. It ached, as if to remind him of the separation. It seemed worse lately; the mix of anger and sorrow intense enough he would try to get rid of the feeling however possible.

    Picking up an empty box of pills, he flipped it over to read the back. Recommended use: one month. He tossed it back into the pile of boxes in the drawer before wandering back to his nest, lying down next to Lu Guang's jacket, curling up, and letting the calm scent lull him to sleep.
