Lucifer Mornigstar has never liked sinners.
But even he feels a little bad watching this Tv-guy get laughed in the face when proposing a business deal between friends-- i mean that's just rough!
His daughter has always told him to empathize with sinners-- be a actual ruler. Make friends! So fine.. just this once, he'll say something nice to one.
How was he supposed to know the guy would spiral into a obsession with him?!

After being left behind Alastor is the one to find a wounded Lucifer after the battle, taking the king into his care this was suppose to be a manipulation a way to get something out of the pathetic king.

He opened his palm, silently summoning his trusty knife. The blade was small, but he’d had it since the fall. It was angelic steel, the only thing that could harm him. It was… comforting to see it again. He had grown quite attached to the thing.
He placed it down on the bed next to him with a sigh. He rolled up his sleeves, revealing the ends of his long black gloves. As he peeled them off, his tears slowed. Giving in to the urges, already deciding he was going to do this, was comforting alone. It was a fight he lost most nights.

After the finale of S2, Lucifer is left to deal with all the damage done to him by himself. But at least Charlie and her friends are safe. And Lucifer definitely doesn’t mind the fact that his own daughter payed no attention to him as he was struggling to stay upright.

It was mostly quiet between the two of them for a long moment. The only sound was Lucifer soft sniffles and the soft jazz music that Alastor was playing from his staff.
“There's more, isn't there?” Alastor asked. Lucifer feels Alastor's hand fall to the small of his back and rub his thumb into his back.
Lucifer pulls back from Alastor hold. He uses the sleeves on the pink sweater to whip his eyes.
“I'm supposed to be stronger than this.” Lucifer lets out a bitter laugh, as he lets his hands fall to his lap. “I'm the king of hell, for fuck’s sake.”
“You are allowed to feel hurt, Lucifer.” Alastor says. The weight of his hand falls onto Lucifer's shoulder, making his eyes turn to look at it. “Even Kings bleed.”

Or Alastor crashes out on Charlie for not apologizing to Lucifer and leaving him in such a mental state for days after the battle with Vox.
