Summary
“Fine. Do nothing. Like you always do.” Charlie said, before starting to make her way upstairs.
Everything stopped. Lucifer’s mouth hung open in shock, as did everyone else’s in the room.
Silent tears began to fall. Lucifer, who had been standing, sat down on the couch right behind him. His hand came up to his mouth in an attempt to muffle a sob. Everyone who had been looking at the stairs Charlie had stormed up, now were looking at Lucifer as he fell apart.

It was mostly quiet between the two of them for a long moment. The only sound was Lucifer soft sniffles and the soft jazz music that Alastor was playing from his staff.
“There's more, isn't there?” Alastor asked. Lucifer feels Alastor's hand fall to the small of his back and rub his thumb into his back.
Lucifer pulls back from Alastor hold. He uses the sleeves on the pink sweater to whip his eyes.
“I'm supposed to be stronger than this.” Lucifer lets out a bitter laugh, as he lets his hands fall to his lap. “I'm the king of hell, for fuck’s sake.”
“You are allowed to feel hurt, Lucifer.” Alastor says. The weight of his hand falls onto Lucifer's shoulder, making his eyes turn to look at it. “Even Kings bleed.”

Or Alastor crashes out on Charlie for not apologizing to Lucifer and leaving him in such a mental state for days after the battle with Vox.

“And you are?” Lucifer asked with apprehension, his visible eyes narrowing slightly.
“Alastor! Pleasure to be meeting you, quite a pleasure!” The red guy- Alastor apparently said quickly, shaking Lucifer’s cane with a grin that seemed a bit tight.
“It’s nice to finally put a face, or mask, to the name! You are much shorter in real life!” Lucifer was not going to like this guy, was he?

Lucifer was heavily scarred during his fall from heaven. And not just mentally. So he hides his face at every moment possible. No one in hell has seen the entirety of his scars.
This annoying red guy seems to be trying to change that last statement, however.

Okay, sooo… I did a thing. It is not the usual vibe.
In my defense, Lucifer gave me free will—and I grabbed it, bolted, and wrote this entire unhinged piece. We only have six episodes of Season 2 so far, and this fic picks up right after Episode 6.
Will it actually happen like this in the show? I would scream if yes, but probably not.But hey, let a girlie dream.

After Vox's deranged attempt at taking over heaven failed miserably, the other two Vs. . . Left him.
And after the chaos, the hotel's residents returned home.
Unaware of who'd they left behind? Uncaring? Who knows. Charlie's mental state has been an enigma lately.
What a mess.
Alastor should've followed, rejoined with the princess and the others, now that he was completely free from any chains. . . But instead, something made him stay.
And look behind.
Why was he bothering? Why did he look back at Vox, decapitated and pathetic, and. . . What was this feeling. Pity? Concern? Why was it there? And why, exactly, did his feet even take him to the fallen overlord. . . ?
Maybe because something about this situation was familiar.
...Little did he know Vox wasn't the only one left behind either.

Summary
Lucifer has a one-night-stand with Alastor after an argument with Lilith, which results in the conception of Charlie. However, neither of them realise it. It's only revealed after the Radio Demon shows up at the Happy Hotel, intending to cause some chaos out of spite for Lucifer, but is met with a girl who shares some curious traits with him.
Alastor never intended to become a parent (Hell he didn't even know it was possible), yet he swears he'll be the best father he can. Perhaps he got more than he bargined fo when he slept with the King of Hell, simply intending on wringing a deal out of the man.... But he cannot be angry at the outcome, not when it resulted in the birth of his daughter and the start of his relationship with Lucifer. If only Heaven wasn't intent on putting their nose where it isn't wanted, things would be perfect.
Let's hope they can weather the incoming storm together.
