A weak whimper nudged Aventurine from the tender embrace of slumber. It took a moment as his eyes slowly blinked open and his surroundings slowly came into focus. The first thing he’d taken in was how his hand rested atop the hand of the one who seemed to take the gambler’s long shattered heart and pieced it together with his own broken heart becoming two halves of a whole. The next thing he’d noticed was how the hand underneath his hand trembled.
Wait… trembled?
It was trembling?
Following the hand toward its owner gave Aventurine a vision that sank his heart and caused it to ache. Even in the dead of night and darkness of the room they shared there was something he could very clearly make out: Sunday was crying.

“I could be,” Gojo says.
“You’re here to recruit me. Like you’ve done for the last five months.”
“Can’t you just let it be both?”

Satoru Gojo was going to be the death of him one day.
He was…a lot. Most of the time, he was even too much. Gojo was often overwhelming, for a lot of people. Kento figured he just have built up a bit of tolerance, but it was kind of like looking directly at the sun. No matter how often you did it, you'd never fully adjust to it. You would always have to pull back, look away.
Gojo's shoulder brushed his own. He wondered when he had stopped keeping his infinity active when he came around here. He remembered the first few times, going to grab his wrist to stop him from messing with his things or attempting to steer him out the door only to be unable to close the distance between Gojo and his touch.
"Nanamin?" Gojo said, then grinned. "Kento?"
