Rose unmuted the audio, clearing her throat loudly. “Hello everyone,” she greeted. Zoey was sure she could hear nerves in the woman’s voice. “We’re doing something that’s, uh, a little different today. My girlfriend will be joining me. And so help me god, if any of you little bitches says anything out of pocket to her, I will ban you. And maybe track you down in real life. So watch it.”
The other person walked into the frame and Zoey froze. No fucking way. She rubbed her eyes, sure she was seeing things. The woman was wearing regular clothes, a loose pair of sweatpants and a tight long-sleeved top, nothing identifiable, but Zoey knew her. Zoey had spent hours tracing her eyes over the lines of the plum blossom tattoos she could just barely see peeking out from the woman’s sleeve. She had daydreamed about those big hands and that melodic voice.

Zoey's a broke, stressed out student in her last year of undergrad, kept afloat mostly by her favorite camgirl, Rose, and her TA/crush/friend, Rumi. She has no idea that the two are much closer than she would have ever expected.
(Mira is not called Rose for much time at all if people find that offputting, basically just for one scene!)

So now, three months into their year-long hiatus, they didn’t expect for Rumi to say quietly, during their many frequent movie nights, “My favorite part of being in HUNTR/X is coming home to you guys.”

Summary
The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.
Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.
In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.

The thought struck like a physical blow, knocking her breath out from the inside. Of course they were. Of course they had chosen each other; they fit, they made sense, they were a pair that moved like they’d been in love for years.
Where was Rumi supposed to go with a feeling this big when the space she wanted was already occupied? The shame of it rose hot—too late, too much, too obvious. It curdled into something bitter she didn’t recognize in herself.

Recently disowned Chaebol daughter Mira faints on the doorstep of struggling business owner Zoey's skate shop, Stale Fish, after a week of wondering around Hongdae with little food, no money, and no place to sleep. After giving Mira a place to collect herself and eat a proper meal, Zoey offers a solution that could benefit them both; Mira could stay in the loft above Stale Fish in exchange for help running the shop with Zoey. Though she's hesitant to accept the honest kindness and help of a stranger, Mira eventually agrees.
A story exploring the freedom found in flying, failing, and falling through the art of skateboarding, and love that blooms like a dandelion through concrete.

“Mira?” Her voice cracked.
“Hey, Zoey, how long til you’re home?“
“Mira, I just hit someone with my car!” She tried holding back her tears as she looked at the unconscious woman in the back seat.
“You what?! Wh-why are you calling me? Call 911!” She shouted into the phone.
“No, I-I did, there’s been a huge pileup on the interstate, a massive accident and there was a-a fire downtown. They said the nearest paramedic is over fifteen minutes away.” She checked the back seat again to make sure she was breathing.
“Ok, ok, I’m on my way. Where are you?” The sound of dangling keys came through the speakers.
“I got the girl into the backseat and I’m taking her to the nearest hospital.” Zoey explained.
“I’ll meet you there, Zo. Be there in ten.” She sighed. “She one of those scam jumpers a druggie, homeless?” Mira asked, frustrated.
“No… I-I sort of… swerved into her…” Said, hesitantly.
“You what?!?” Mira shouted.
There was a-in the road… and the lightning and she flew into… I’ll explain it later!”
Or:After a near-fatal accident, Rumi is hospitalized, Zoemira do their best to atone for the mistake. While Rumi struggles with her own issues.
