"Uh-huh, see you later," Leo said, seemingly unconcerned, before gasping and dropping his comic book on the floor. It hit the floor with a muted smack. "Wait, WHAT?!"
Donnie froze halfway to the door. Raph and Mikey's heads shot up in surprise. Leo was already scrambling to stand, a determined furrow in his brow ridges. Donnie wanted to kick something. There it was, the thing he’d been worried about.
