Summary
Shen Yuan was cursed, but she had learned to manage her condition over the years. She knew how it shifted with the seasons and when her usual coping mechanisms were waning in effectiveness, calling for more drastic measures. No, it very much was not, especially as she had received it by accident when a long-dead suitor tried to trap Shen Jiu into a relationship. Shen Yuan learned to keep of schedule of self pleasure and what substances allowed for self medication, because she was not planning on fulfilling the condition of breaking the curse any time soon. Who exactly was she supposed to have a baby with, anyway?
Enter: Su Binghe, the beautiful half-demon princess who caught her eye and stole her heart.

Knb/HQ!! AU: The world-building is outstanding the humor is incredibly spot on and made me roll around laughing until I couldn't breath. Note; this goes to a pretty dark place when it comes to the GoM's past but this is written so incredibly well, their PTSD is well depicted in their actions and reactions and words, the story telling is gripping and you're always hungry for the next chapter.

Les Mis AU: My heart grows two sizes every time I read this lovely collection of mostly gen-fics that feature a friendship I would have otherwise overlooked (including my favorite pairings didn't hurt any) but this series would have been just as amazing without, I love it so much.

Summary
The Barricades Rise tour starts in Ft. Lauderdale on one of those gorgeously mild days that only coastal Florida can produce. The sun is bright but the wind off the Atlantic is fresh and cooling. It’s not too humid, not too hot, especially as Grantaire takes the stage in the early evening. The sun is setting, wrapping the fairgrounds and the crowd in warm golden light. It’s damn near perfect.
It’s also one of the worst days of Grantaire’s entire life.
Probably the worst.

Mass Effect AU: Alternate universe in which our favorite foul-mouthed, ass-kicking, and (to borrow the very true words of the author) 'a little crazy' space marine is growing up in a different and all together incredible origin story.
The pacing is wonderful and you feel like you've been pulled directly into Shepard's mind as the events are going on. Every time I'm reintroduced to a well-loved character from Millie's point of view it's refreshing yet familiar.
This series is so far pre-romance but please don't let that make you turn away from this incredible series- there's such a reasonable and good build up to it and every amazing character, canon or not, will distract you anyway.
