Summary
It's been years since Kobeni left Public Safety, years since the Control Incident. But although she's no longer a Devil Hunter, Devils never really stopped hunting her. Now, just when her life is settling into an uneasy sort of normality, she sees a familiar face at the graveyard. This can't bode well. All Kobeni wanted was to try and live a normal life - as normal as is possible for her - to try and hide from a world too terrifying to cope with. But the world has a way of not letting her stay out of things, and when she's backed into a corner, and there aren't a lot of choices left...
This is a companion fic to my friend Janick's fic, My Memories of You (https://archiveofourown.org/works/45414505/chapters/114264157). We'll be following approximately the same canon with overlapping events.

Summary
A retelling of the Mass Effect story following the ending of Mass Effect 1, making significant changes to how the plot plays out.
This is purely a fan-fic reconstruction of the plot of Mass Effect 2 and 3, and takes significant creative liberties with the source material. While many elements of the original plot are in place, many others are rearranged or replaced entirely. Since this is a self-indulgent fanfiction, some characters will have less or more focus than they did in the original. The purpose is not to spite anyone with my ‘superior’ version of the story. I’m just having fun here.

Summary
