Summary
It’s not new for Din to feel alone in a crowded room, but he’s feeling it especially right now, in the midst of this glittering, empty spectacle.
The senator’s blabbering suddenly cuts off and Din turns to look at them, concerned.
If they drop dead or something, he doesn’t want anyone to blame him.
Except, it's not just the Senator “entertaining” him quieting; the entire room hushes, for a moment, before the whispering starts up, tenfold.
There’s been a new arrival, and based on the looks on everyone’s faces, the way some parties puff themselves up, while others adjust their clothing and others turn pale; there’s only one person in the galaxy it could be.
Din feels his heart start to race.

“No. We can't have any evidence of… this.” Luke levels a look at him. “You know we're going to have to lie to everyone, right? I don't want to get caught up trying to remember who knows the truth and who doesn't. Can you do that?”
“Can you?” Din counters, “-your sister won't be able to tell?”
“...she has her hands full with my nephew,” Luke says,
Din snorts.
“What?”
“Are you prepared for everyone at the office thinking we're together?”
“Why is that funny? This was your idea!"
“I know, I'm fine with it." Din says "-Just looking forward to you getting read the riot act by Kenobi, that's all.”

Because the Universe thinks it's funny, Luke and his colleague, Mando, are both going to the same wedding. And because the Universe has decided it's pursuing a career in comedy, they both have their own reasons for needing a date to it.
The most logical course of action, obviously, is that they pretend to be dating and attend together.

It’s the new normal. He’s fine. He’s doing great. It’s only gotten hotter in LA and his brain has been exposed to so much shirtless Eddie it doesn’t even faze him anymore. He’s immune to that crinkly-eyed smile and his abs and the way his back ripples on a push-up— it’s fine. He’s fine.

“Skywalker.” Din says, crossing his arms, already annoyed at the car parked in his usual spot. Skywalker looks just like Din expected him to. All flash, no substance.
“Exactly,” he grins and looks Din up and down. “-you must be Mando.”
“Guilty as charged.” Din says, “-if you’ll excuse me, I gotta bring-”
“Want some help?”
“No.” Din says, immediately. “-it’s my job.”
“Oh, I don’t mind.” Luke grins, “-Owen would insist on helping you.”
It’s annoying that Mando is handsome, Luke thinks. Makes it harder to hate this interloper on sight.
“You’re not Owen.” Mando points out, raising a brow.
Luke gets the feeling he’s just been insulted straight to his face.
“No.” Luke says, "I'm not.”
Nevermind. Maybe hating Mando will be easier than he expects.Camie's getting married. Estranged from Owen & Beru, Luke goes home for the first time in 10 years. He's not looking forward to meeting their farmhand, the man who’s been living his old life ever since he left. Din isn’t particularly excited to meet Luke either; not when he already hates him for abandoning people who are like family to him now.
They both try to be civil. Fireworks ensue instead.- Language:

When Eskel shows Geralt a book that says Jaskier died, Geralt travels to Novigrad to pay his respects. He finds the bard very much alive, very much unapproachable, and very much drunk. Or is that himself? Jaskier, however, isn't going to let Geralt hide their reunion at the bottom of a bottle.

Logan tries not to deal with how he feels about seeing Wade in a short skirt. Wade forces the issue.
"I can hear you thinking, peanut. Angry little thoughts bouncing around in that metal dome. Ting, ting, ting." At least Wade had the decency to sound strained as he talked.
"Get off," Logan growled.
Wade gave a low laugh that turned into a miserable, exaggerated moan. "I'd really, really love to."
With an annoyed grunt, Logan retracted his claws. He was going to need more leverage to wrestle this asshole off of him before he noticed the state Logan was in, and he couldn't do it while worrying about leaving bloodstains.
"Thaaat's it," Wade said, breathy and condescending. "That's perfect. Good doggy."

Another groan, and Wade is now sure of what he is hearing. Logan is not groaning out of pain, no, he’s groaning out of pleasure, over and over again.
Now, Wade has a few options here – he could leave the room and ignore whatever is happening on the other side of the wall. He could also stay there, see how long it takes for Logan to finish to come up with a joke or two to tell once he’s out of the bathroom. Or he could stay there, listen, and give to his body what it clearly wants.

In the heat, Luke had stripped off more clothing than usual, leaving him in a thin white undershirt. A tank top. Din doesn't know where to look. He's not even the one exposed, and yet he finds himself flushed at the intimacy.
Luke's shoulders aren't exactly broad, but his arms are corded with muscle that move smoothly with his actions. The shirt covers his clavicles but his collarbones make strong lines past his sleeves, and Din wants to suck a mark into his shoulder right where the point meets the curve.(Or, the one where Luke wears a tank top to seduce Din)
