Summary
After seven years of searching, the last place that Warlock Dowling expected to finally find his missing nanny was in a bookshop in Soho.
Anthony Crowley might have been a man, but he had Nanny Ashtoreth’s aesthetic, preferred color palette, and penchant to wear sunglasses at all times. He also shared her personality quirks and turn of phrase, if not her accent. Warlock was almost positive they were the same person, even if Anthony showed absolutely no signs of recognition when references to their past were brought up in conversation.
Warlock has been offered a place among the Whickber Street regulars as he attempts to break free from his overbearing parents, but the mystery of why he was abandoned by Nanny Ashtoreth weighs heavily on him. Almost as much as the notable absence of Brother Francis.
In all of the years that Warlock mourned their leaving, he had always assumed Ashtoreth and Francis had run away in order to be together. He never imagined he would discover one living without the other…

Three times, Anathema Device had felt a deep sadness that she knew was not her own. After the third intrusion, felling well and truly annoyed, she reached out to Madame Tracy who explained that it was Aziraphale's grief and she had felt it as well.
With the looming knowledge that the book of prophecy she burned would likely have already clued her into what's actually happening, Anathema decided to confront the angel who was disrupting her retirement from world saving. She was well prepared to give him a piece of her mind and she refused to feel guilty about the bridges (and book) that she had already burned...

Summary
Confirmed bachelor Anthony Crowley has sworn off romance, but he's willing to set his disdain aside to celebrate the nuptials of his friend, Anathema.
Unlucky in love, Aziraphale Fell is doing everything in his power to make sure the wedding of his closest friend, Newt, goes off without a hitch.
Neither of them expected to come face to face with the ex they loved and lost eleven years ago.
–
“Anthony J. Crowley.” There was a note of accusation in Aziraphale's voice as he called out the name.
The tone stopped Crowley’s descent and a huge grin lit up his face. It was a thing full of teeth longing for an excuse to bite.
Aziraphale continued, using his words to establish the separation he was determined to maintain. “Tell me, have you turned respectable or are you still playing at being a flash bastard?”
For his part, Crowley looked delighted, obviously taking the statement as a challenge.“Wut,” he called, stretching the word out, sounding almost playful. “Aziraphale Fell!” He enunciated every syllable of the name and smiled the whole way through. “As I live and breathe. Well, I’m sure you’re respectable enough for the both of us.”

Brilliant. I loved the concept and the execution.
Aziraphale develops a relationship with Crowley throughout human history, and watches the demonic creature that is somehow tied to Crowley despite the demon being unaware of its existence.
Any fic that brings out the ache I feel for Crowley gets a special place in my heart and this one did it in a new and wonderful way.

It isn’t temptation, it’s revelation.

Beautiful story of Aziraphale coming to terms with a shifting view of his faith and himself.
The length was perfect, the story was fantastically balanced between past and present. Despite being profound, it never felt too heavy.

Summary
There is a long history of witches finding ways to contact demons for aid. Anathema gets a demon’s number from a certain angel.
“Aziraphale sounded on the verge of crying when he begged me not to destroy the book of new prophecies.”
“You’re gonna destroy it?”
“I really want to.”
“Alright. Well. That’s chaotic. Thumbs up from me. Love it. But... Didn’t you want your grand purpose back?”

I quite frankly love Anathema & Crowley dynamics. This had me smiling all the way through and I really liked the phone call format.

Bookmarker's Notes
This just warms my heart.
College AU from Newt's POV as Aziraphale's roommate. The outside perspective of the way that Aziraphale is sort of dismissed by others when he's away from Crowley is a nice carry over from how he's treated in Heaven.
I love the idea of Aziraphale and Crowley being in a long distance relationship and still hopelessly devoted, but not having it displayed as clingy.
One of the few times I've enjoyed Gabriel as a sort of friend and on their side instead of a villian.
