Diluc remembered when things were good. Before losing his father, taking the delusion, and hunting down the Fatui for the better part of three years. Back when he had a brother, before Kaeya told him the truth. He remembered the fight as though it happened yesterday. Diluc remembered how it had been one of the hardest things he'd ever done.
And he certainly remembered the way Kaeya left, bloody and bruised. "There's nothing left here for you," Diluc had said to him, just as bloody with snow still melting in his red hair. He'd spat the words really, filled with as much of his hatred and pain as he could muster. And Kaeya hadn't said anything, but he'd left.

Steve wasn’t sure what to expect. He had already made his opinions on this whole PR team thing pretty crystal clear. He wasn’t sure if he was surprised or not when Pepper Potts gave him a small, amused smile and handed him a small stack of carefully labeled file folders.
“It’s for the best, Steve,” she had said patiently. “Either SHIELD handles the entirety of your public image for you, or we get a step ahead and let you have at least some control over the situation.”
Despite knowing that she was absolutely correct--he had little doubt that SHIELD would be more than happy to continue shaping his persona the same way they had done for the last seven decades--Steve couldn’t bring himself to be pleased with the concept. Why couldn’t he just speak for himself?

Summary
The war between the fox and wolf clans has raged for centuries, ignited in a time before anyone can remember. Now both clans—tired of the bloodshed and hate—are searching for a way to end the war.
Crowned prince Stiles Stilinski—heir to the fox clan—has agreed with his father to meet with the Hales, the ruling royal family over the wolf clan. Under the counseling of the Druids, both clans are presented with a solution to the war: unite the Stilinski and Hale clans through marriage. To quell their people's anger, both Stiles and Derek—eldest living Hale Alpha—are urged to accept the other as an equal; as their mate.
For the sake of their people, both houses make the ultimate sacrifice by choosing duty over love. But, out of what was first assumed to be compromised, quickly turns to be a better match than either could have hoped for. But not all is easy for either clan, as some members refuse to believe that the war could end so easily.

Peter sighed and looked very put out. “I was sent on the behalf of my darling sister, Talia Hale, to give the invite that isn’t really an invite, more like an order, to come live at the Hale House for the Gifted.
Stiles blinked, rage momentarily forgotten. “You want me to join the X Men?”
“Why does everyone say that?” Peter moaned. “Boyd, Erica, Isaac. We aren’t the X Men. We don’t fight crime, we don’t have costumes.”
“Well that seems like a waste.”
“Oh go ahead, boy wonder, try and save someone with those poisonous fingers. Would you put them away? We have business to discuss.”

Or, a car accident leaves Stiles with the power to kill everything he touches. When Talia Hale manhandles him into living at her mysterious boarding home with others of less freaky powers, he meets Derek, whose touch heals. Making him the only person who can touch Stiles.
