    “Following his pardon by the President of the United States, Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes, former Nazi prisoner of war and brainwashed Hydra agent, took to an unusual method of adapting to the modern world: Twitter. His Twitter handle was tweeted out by Tony Stark, and in the following two days, he gained over ten million followers. Barnes posted only four tweets as well as sharing and retweeting several Vines, but two of his tweets were videos of the famed Steven Rogers, also known as Captain America. The latest of these featured Barnes entering Captain Roger’s bedroom and shouting the line: “He’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s mister United States”, just to cause Captain Rogers to fall out of bed before confusedly saying, “Bucky, what the [bleeped]?” The rest of the world seems to agree with Captain Rogers; Barnes, what the hell?”

    Steve was in the middle of what seemed like a perfectly normal mission, when he got hit trying to save a civilian. Bucky hadn't even noticed there was a fight raging around him.
    When they wake up, both Steve and Bucky realise they are no longer in their own bodies.

    Bucky attempts to navigate his way around Stark tower, surrounded by superheroes and disembodied butlers, while Steve has to contend with an overprotective sister, a hyperactive three year old, and a cat who doesn’t trust him.

    Brought together under objectively weird circumstances, they must figure out a way to get back to their own lives, but maybe the switch isn’t so bad as it first seemed, and maybe they can have a little fun with it while they figure things out.

    “Papa!”
    “What?” Steve says as Bucky’s eyes go wide. It would be comical if the entire situation just weren’t so weird.

    It seemed to be a fairly standard mission. Go to Russia, find out why people are guarding an abandoned HYDRA base, sort them out, come home. Steve and Bucky did not expect to find a tiny child who insists that Bucky is her "papa".
