    Summary

    What seemed to become just another cheap prank of the Joker takes a very different direction when contrary to his belief, he finds Bruce Wayne at home, being in a quite celebratory mood, listening to the Beatles with a glass of wine.
    After that night, both men go on a journey of self-discovery and they soon realize that they need to ditch those poisonous lies they have been believing in in order to find happiness.
     

    Each chapter is based on a song from one band (except chapter 1).

    “Hitoshi Shinsou?”

    Shinsou’s eyes lift to the face of the man addressing him, and his mind reels. Of all people in the entire city, he’s face to face with Shouta Aizawa.

    “Fuck, Aizawa-sensei, I’m sorry, I—“ Shinsou shifts in his seat, swiping angrily at his tears. He inwardly berates himself for losing his grip so easily and letting the hero he admires most catch him in the worst of states.

    “Stop,” Aizawa says, holding up a hand. He then lifts the same hand and puts a finger over his lips. “This is a library. Just be quiet until we leave.” Shinsou looks up at him, listening to his request. “Let’s go to the café across the street and I’ll buy you lunch.”

    Not all men are created equal. Some were born unlucky, crafted with a tricky, villainous-quirk and hungry aspirations of becoming a Hero. Shinsou Hitoshi has been living a life of struggle, aspiring to become a hero despite all that chained him from his dream. After a rather lucky meeting with Aizawa Shouta, he begins toward the path of becoming a hero -- finding himself unprepared, but undeterred, by the indefinite hurdles along his path to his goal.
    (Mostly just a long planned fic-verse of Shinsou's journey toward making it into the hero course, highly inspired by @keiid 's fanart on tumblr.)

Feelings get in the way of his ability to determine right and wrong and most definitely cloud his judgement. Blue eyes and bangs can do that to someone.

    He smiled. "I guess not,"
    "You should probably stop underestimating me now. You say you needed me, what is going on?"
