Clover Field is a professional who's been trained to handle a variety of stressful situations... but she's also REALLY stressed right now, so who can blame her if she were to decide to solve her problems in a more immediate way than she normally would?
This is, essentially, a Virtue's Last Reward Axe Ending AU that has since spiraled WILDLY out of control. I originally declared that I'd write an axe ending if VLR didn't have one, though this idea wildly spiraled out of control as I beat VLR. I then binged ZTD and just HAD to add it to the fic and, thus, Clover's VLR Axe AU!
MASSIVE thank you to Vampirebadger for both introducing me to Zero Escape in the first place and listening to my live reactions to the games, as well as talking this fic's plot through with me.
