“Good evening,” Law said calmly. “I am looking for…” he looked down at the medical chart in his hands. “Monkey D. Luffy.”
The boy on the bed smiled immediately when he heard his name, a curious and excited look in his eyes.
“That’s me!” He shouted out. “Are you the doctor? They said that they were sending a doctor before dinner and I am really hungry, so if you are the doctor this means that I am gonna eat soon!”
The two men in the room groaned at that sentence and Law felt taken aback by the enthusiasm of the guy. He was either stupid or not aware of the gravity of his injury, if his only thought was dinner.
“Yes, I am the surgeon that will operate on you,” he answered. “My name is Trafalgar Law.”*
Law is a surgeon who needs some light in his life.

Since asking for strong narcotics or a well-placed blow to the head are both medically unsound options, he turns to the only other surefire cure. But how will he live with himself when he finds out about Luffy's not-so-secret secret?
The doctor sat up, considering the younger man's expression. "...Would you be interested in helping me get to sleep, Luffy?"
"It's probably only fair...you're nakama. I'm the captain." His grin grew a margin wider, and he flipped out of the hammock with his typical grace.

"It felt odd. The commanders were standing around the grave. All the grass was still in place but with further examination, the ground was no longer level like it had been the last time they had been here. Rather it was caved in and the grass over the middle of his resting place looked... almost new. The spots of dirt around the grass were still loose. As if someone had moved it. It was clear to them that something wasn't right. Marco turned to look at Whitebeard, almost pleading that what they were all thinking wasn't true.
