The plain-looking woman at the prescription pick-up desk cocks an eyebrow upon scanning the papers that Shouta hands her. “Midoriya Izuku,” she comments. “He’s the kid who got kidnapped, right? Someone found him in some basement.”
Shouta doesn’t like what he sees in her eyes. “Uh huh.”
“Huh. Makes sense that they’d lump him with a pro hero,” she intones, her eyes flitting to Hizashi. It sounds like she’s trying to crack some sort of relatable joke, but it falls critically flat. “With a quirk like that… well, I mean...”
“--and what are you implicating?" Shouta snaps.
