Summary
The World Games has been going on for a hundred years, and it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
You can pray, but it won't do any good. You can cry, but no one will care. You can scream, but it will fall upon deaf ears. You can protest, but you will die.
Emotions get you killed in this world. But when the lights are put and you're curled up in a ball, to afraid to go to sleep because of the nightmares that will come, and your stomach is starting to ache from starvation, you can hope. For what, some ask. Honestly, nobody knows.
As a tribute you're being used as just another pawn in their Games. Your back is against the wall. You have nothing to believe in, no one to pray to, and no one that cares.
Hope could save your life. But it could end it just as quickly.
