My heartbeat has picked up, the adrenaline starting to flow. I can see why he enjoys this so much. This feeling of anticipation, of feeling dangerous. Of being a predator.
Or just some sea monsters having fun in the shallows.

Noctis pulls a hand out of his pocket so he can run it through his hair. When he speaks again, there’s a subtle tremor to his voice. “The Ring is killing him, Ignis. I could help. But he won’t—”
Ignis steps into the space Noct’s cut-off silence leaves behind. He offers what hope he can. “Gladio found another candidate. I interviewed him this evening.”
“You did?” The uncertainty in Noct’s expression carves a slice out of Ignis’s heart.
“I’ll be offering him the position in the morning.”
“Do you think he’s the one?”

They laugh sharply and growl and snarl and talk loud with their bodies like animals. The way they move and speak makes it seem like being human is the act, the pretending game. There is an edge to them that almost feels dangerous, raw and feral.
In other words, fish boys do not stop being fish boys just because they look human.

Summary
Alberto scoffs and says I’ve seen television, which is a clear indication that he’s being literal. He’s never sat down and actively watched anything on one before. He still climbs over the back of the sofa to sit beside her. He throws his arm behind her shoulders, and Luca leans into her side, and Giulia sighs and smiles, squashed comfortably between the two of them.
She’s going to miss this the most when she goes to London.
But even knowing that it’s going to end, she can’t wait for summer to begin.
