Summary
Eight months after the events of Under The Red Hood and his less than savory reunion with Bruce(which included getting his throat cut open with a batarang- good job Bruce-) Jason Todd is at a loss for where he belongs. In an attempt to find his place in the world, Jason has begun patrolling and saving those in need- the people who Batman and his squad of child soldiers don't have the time for.
When Jason encounters a chilling series of child disappearances, he’s forced to confront the demons of his past. In his quest to stop the horrors no one ever protected him from, Jason must face the guilt of his own past actions and decide whether he can truly protect these children from the darkness of Gotham—or if they’ll end up suffering the same fate he did.
His investigation leads him back into the reluctant embrace of the Bat-family, and Jason grapples with whether he can trust them to help or if he’s doomed to fight this battle alone.

Summary
Dolly is the very nice old woman who lives three blocks down from Jason’s third-favorite safe house. It’s not out of the norm for her to ask him to put this or that knick-knack on this or that shelf, but it is out of the norm for him to open the closet door and nearly be swallowed by yarn.
“Oh, dear,” Dolly says. “I forgot that was the yarn closet.”
“A yarn closet,” Jason repeats disbelievingly. He places the knick-knack on top of the shelf. There is an endless rainbow of yarn pooled around his feet. “What do you even do with all this?”
Dolly says, “Hats, scarves. Hot pads if I’m bored. Blankets if there’s a baby. Honestly, you can crochet all kinds of things.”
“Crocheting,” Jason says. And this is where he makes his fatal mistake: “Is that kind of like knitting?”
Five minutes later, Jason finds himself seated on the couch, a bundle of yarn in one hand and some kind of hook in the other.

Jason Todd learns how to crochet. It turns out that having healthy emotional outlets improves your mental health and your relationships with others--like, say, a certain set of Bats.

Deviancy was turning out to be a complicated matter, one that no pre-constructing could figure out.
And Hank? Well, Hank had been drowning his emotions in the bottom of a bottle for years. He was the last person anyone should turn to for this B.S. On top of it all, he knew jack shit about android’s.
But hell, he was starting to learn how to change the settings on his phone.
Maybe there was hope for them both after all.
