The last few days had been riddled with its looming presence and she had had enough; first her partial confession Valentine's night, then the thankfully interrupted almost-leap into uncharted intimacy, the umpteenth altercation with Xavier and strange exchange with Dulo, Enid’s gift and the bloodsoaked night in the woods, and their uncomfortable conversation thereafter. At least Friday had been relatively uneventful. It hadn’t lasted long enough."
The contest was won, and their relationship was real now. So why did it feel like everything meaningful was just beginning?

Start by observing how he swings that blade. Next, look over each movement with the same attention to detail and piece together what you find.”

“Don’t you see?” Koro-sensei asked.
And he did. Stain was skilled and he had many blades, both literal and metaphorical. It would be near impossible for a hero of Nagisa’s skill level to beat him, steel to steel.
But Nagisa didn’t need to beat him. Because he didn’t need to be a hero, not to do this.
“Voila,” Koro-sensei said. “A trivial adversary indeed.
“Now, use that trusty blade to fillet him.”

The raven knew the function of each of those body parts, which muscle would tense up when her fingers pressed against any keycap on her typewriter, she knew what part of her body would relax when she fell asleep, she could even see which muscles would move around as Enid’s claws extended in front of her eyes.
That is why the simple thought of her own muscles moving in an unfamiliar way scared her. Wednesday Addams considered herself an expert in anatomy and yet, the second she locked eyes with Enid, she felt something in her chest unlike anything she felt before.

Midoriya Izuku just wanted to escape Bakugou's bullying and achieve his dream of attending the prestigious UA. He assumed the cutthroat Kunugigaoka Junior High would prepare him for that. Too bad he was immediately booted to class 3-E for being quirkless.
Shinsou Hitoshi planned for his time at Kunugigaoka Junior High to be spent under the radar. He kept his grades average and interactions with others minimal. The room seemed to lean in all at once, a ripple of anticipation spreading through the students. Even the green-haired boy in the front row — who already had a notebook open — was practically vibrating, pen poised like he was about to record every word.
For a moment, Nagisa only smiled back at them, soft, calm, the kind of expression that gave nothing away and yet somehow eased the air in the room. His eyes swept lightly across the expectant faces, catching sparks of excitement, curiosity, and even a little awe. Then, with the same steady composure he had carried all morning, he answered:
“…Why, I’m Quirkless.”
