Summary
It happens all too quickly—Kaeya moves to retrieve the lantern, but with his guard down and his sight yet to fully adjust to the shadows, his reflexes are slow, and he's unable to defend against the sudden grab of an unknown assailant. They grapple for a short time, but the attacker has strength and momentum on their side, and it isn't long before Kaeya finds his cheek pressed against the wall with both wrists behind his back, caught in a loop of chains.
"Good evening, Captain," murmurs a quiet voice in his ear that sounds unsettlingly familiar.
It's the fancy kind of sexy interrogation. (And then it's just a sexy kind of sexy.)

Summary
Diluc should leave. He should hole up in his room and crunch the winery’s numbers. But Kaeya makes it hard with that crooked smile and damnable eye patch. Diluc falls right into his teasing words and fleeting touches as Kaeya leans a little too close to reach around him.
It cannot be a romance. Time here on this boat is limited and the both of them know that the moment he steps off the gangplank everything will go back to normal. Diluc will be a sommelier again, and Kaeya will be a deckhand meant for the seas. But the push and pull of it is addictive. Like the waves they sail, Diluc rises and falls to the rhythm of Kaeya’s whim, and with each day that passes, those waves crest higher and higher.

Returning to his dockets, Neuvillette says, “I understand it is a passing trend among the young people of Fontaine, but I have never given it much of my own regard.”
Wriothesley chokes. Half of Fontainian society communicates via the unspoken language of flowers, using bouquets to augment or even subvert their messages. “I wouldn’t call it a passing trend,” Wriothesley manages, strangled.
Wriothesley teaches Neuvillette the subtle political art of floriography, and Neuvillette takes the opportunity to communicate more privately with the Duke.

Summary
Amidst the chaos of the hot line, in the middle of the Saturday night rush at premiere Fontanian restaurant Romaritime, head chef Wriothesley keeps the flow of his kitchen on a tight leash. At least, he tries to, until the front of house manager inevitably makes an appearance, sending his heart into free-fall and his rowdy line cooks into a full-on hazing spree.
It's not easy being head chef, and it's made even more difficult each day he continues to harbor a-not-so-well-hidden crush on Neuvillette, the restaurant’s leading manager and decorated sommelier. Hopefully, some prodding from his longtime friend and trusted bartender Clorinde (and a glass of whiskey) can give him the courage he needs to shoot his shot.
A.K.A: Head chef Wriothesley gets roasted by his line cooks, and the bartender, and the pastry chef, all in his very noble pursuit to not make a fool of himself drooling over the FOH manager.
