“To get used to it.”
“Why do you need to get used to my drawing room? Plan to set camp? Tell me, why the fuck are you really here?”
She shrugged and chose honesty, “I’m here because I have nightmares of this place. Because I dream of it weekly and I’m so tired of it. I want to get it out of my system.”
“Oh? Out of your system?” he asked cynically, “Well if it’s that easy. Go ahead. After you!”

The fingers that had been toying with his hair slipped down to cup his face, the slight scratch of those pointed nails familiar in a comforting way that he would have never anticipated.
“Vessel, do you wish to turn off once more?” Sukuna’s voice was soft, but it pierced through the emptiness of the room in such a way that Yuuji felt like it meant to encompass him whole, to drown him in the overwhelming waves of such a promise.
